Hello Sarah, 

I believe the application hearing is tomorrow.  This has caused a bit of a stir in the village, and you may have noticed some comments left in local online newspaper articles (which you can read one here)

As you know I am the Chair of the Stanmer Resident's Committee, and the acting chair of Stanmer Stakeholders which provides a forum the wider stakeholders of the park. On reading the representation from B&HECT, I thought perhaps I'd missed something, as this application was raised at quarterly meetings of both the organisations I chair, and no objections were raised. 

Therefore on Sunday I visited every single tenant in the village that have the BHECT as their landlords, and can confirm not one of them was approached by the Trust before this complaint was registered on their behalf, and indeed they were all very happy to support this licence application which is in line with the previous licence held by the house, and the one recently granted for Plumpton's One Garden. 

Please can you ensure the views of the village are accurately represented tomorrow, and it is to support the licence application.
